How You Can Help

There are many ways in which you can help the Partnership for Breast Care in continuing to provide quality services to people with breast problems. Whether you wish to make a donation of your time or financially contribute, we welcome your participation.

How You Have Helped

The Partnership for Breast Care has been able to provide many services and help people with breast problems and breast cancer more because of generous donations.  Some of the ways that these gifts and donations have helped are listed below.

  • Resources for women considering breast reconstruction including two DVD's and a book with photographs and stories from women who have had surgery for breast cancer.
  • This website development and the maintenance including updates that help to keep it a timely and meaningful educational resource.
  • An Ultrasound machine for the Surgical Specialty Clinic at Hartford Hospital, a clinic that provides surgical services for people who are un- or under-insured.
  • To help Hartford Hospital bring mobile mammography services to the Greater Hartford Area in 2005.
  • Educational information for people with breast problems and breast cancer.
  • Community educational talks on Ductal Carcinoma In-Situ and for Women at High Risk for Breast Cancer.
  • Mammograms and ultrasounds for women that have a problem and do not have insurance.
  • A database to help coordinate critical clinical information to assure greater efficiencies in the care for people with breast problems and breast cancer.
  • Focus groups that identify how we can make the services people with breast problems and breast cancer.
  • Necessities bags for women having a mastecomy.
