Psycho-Oncology, a Division of Consultation Psychiatry and the Cancer Program, provides psychological support, treatment of depression and anxiety that was preexisting or developed as a result of the diagnosis of cancer. This service will also coordinate symptom management through the course of treatment. We work closely in an interdisciplinary team providing options such psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and family therapy with the goal of optimizing the patient's quality of life.
