Volunteer Opportunities ~ Donor/Contributions

There are many different ways that you can help the Partnership for Breast Care. As a program of Hartford Hospital, all gifts are directed to the Partnership through the Hospital Fund Development office. You could make a charitable gift for any of the following:

• Support our community education program, web site, database, outreach activities, etc.
• Support those people who are uninsured.
• Make a gift in honor of someone you know and care about.
• Make a gift in memory of someone you know and care about.
• Planned Giving for the Partnership for Breast Care at Hartford Hospital. A planned gift is typically the largest gift a donor will make in his or her lifetime. Many times planned gifts support not only Hartford Hospital, but also the donor as well through income for their lifetime. They can be made through your will, a charitable gift annuity, a charitable remainder trust, the pooled income fund, a life insurance policy, an IRA, etc. This section will review some of the frequently asked questions about planned gifts and the various ways they can be structured. • Recognizing you or your loved ones as donors. All gifts of $100 or more are recognized in an annual Honor Roll of Donors. There are also naming opportunities for gifts of $25,000 or more. For larger gifts, consider our Planned Giving ideas... in any case, we strongly recommend that you also contact your financial advisor or attorney.
